The Power of Connection: Suicide Prevention and Intervention Training provided by Staci Cornwell, LMHC.
Join us at Second Chance Ranch for a life-changing event! Specialized Training and Consultation Inc. is approved by DOH and on the Model List for three hours of Suicide Prevention training required for continued licensure. This is the only in-person training of its kind being offered and is sure to be the most memorable. This in-person training will provide an interactive and fresh approach to knowledge and skills needed to prevent and intervene in suicide situations for both youth and adults. Together, we can make a difference and save lives. Don’t miss this unique opportunity!
As a bonus, there will also be a Leading with Horses workshop, including a live demonstration on ways to incorporate horses into treatment sessions with your clients. Katie Merwick, horse specialist, will talk about the effectiveness and demonstrate ways for you to help your clients work through treatment goals with the help of horses. Working on boundaries, anxiety, depression, or even trauma, horses assist clients of all ages during the therapy session in so many unique ways. By attending, you will be added to the provider list for those who are able to use Second Chance Ranch for future therapy sessions and regardless of your experience with horses, Katie and her horses will be there to guide you.
