The Film: A suicide attempt left 16-year-old varsity cheerleader Emma Benoit paralyzed but propelled her on a mission to use her painful experience to help others find hope and stay alive.
This event will include a brief welcome, viewing of the documentary, a panel discussion, and conclusion. Each participant will be provided with resources from the community about mental health and suicide.
Details:
- This screening is offered at no cost thanks to the generous supporters of FailSafe for Life, as well as support from Light a Lamp, NAMI, STACI, Mead SD, and NC High School. If you are able to donate, a suggested donation of $15/person is welcomed.
- Due to the content, youth 12-18 are required to attend with a parent. This film is not appropriate for elementary aged children.
